Driven by the need to protect our frontline healthcare providers as they face the challenges and dangers of caring for COVID-19 afflicted patients, a team of engineers and physicians from Duke University have carefully designed a portable, low-cost, negative pressure isolation device. The COVIAGE™ patient isolation system is designed to provide critical protection to healthcare providers as they administer to COVID-19 patients in the hospital.
